Structured Funding Dialogues

The Quadrennial Comprehensive Policy Review (QCPR) recognizes that the integrated nature of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development requires a more sustainable funding approach and calls on the entities of the UN Development System to improve the functioning and effectiveness of the structured dialogues on how to fund the development results, agreed to in the Strategic Plans.

UNDP is providing regular updates on the implementation of the Strategic Plan 2022-2025 and the Integrated Resources Plan and Integrated Budget 2022-2025 through a series of Structured Funding Dialogues. Such dialogues with Member States are serving as a useful forum to address issues related to quality of funding, and better match funding to Strategic Plan outcomes. Several themes have also been covered in these dialogues including transparency, quality and predictability of funding, and alignment of financial resources to strategic plans.
