This Annual Report highlights UNDP’s first year of implementation of its Gender Equality Strategy 2022-2025, summarizing key achievements in advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment in 2022. While continuing to respond to most pressing basic needs, UNDP has moved towards helping countries make more structural shifts to achieve gender equality at scale. The report features examples from across countries and includes key areas for deeper work in 2023.
