The best way to gain trust is to demonstrate ethics and integrity in business practices. Not because of legal requirements – but because it is the right thing to do. Business integrity protects young entrepreneurs and their companies, and it is essential for the long-term success of any business.

On 15 September 2022, the MoversForBizIntegrity cohort met for the first time.

Following the previous Movers Workshop on Business Integrity which gathered young company owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, and youth keen on the topic of integrity, this time, contributors to the update of the Business Integrity Toolkit for Young Entrepreneurs met online to provide ideas and valuable comments.

The meetings indicated an appetite for online, easy-to-access business integrity programs or resources, providing participants with food for thought on the company’s moral compass or corporate governance practice.

UNDP developed the Toolkit on ‘Business Integrity for Young Entrepreneurs’ in 2019 in collaboration with stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific region, including young entrepreneurs and representatives of numerous incubators and accelerators.

Grounded on this successful Knowledge Product, the upgraded content will be the foundation for an interactive course published on the Youth SDG innovation platform for APAC and beyond.
