ELIGIBILITY

• have a business idea or project that has a strong market potential and will appeal to investors
• present a new and original business idea in economic, social and ecology sphere with an impact;
• the proposals address at least one Sustainable Development Goal (out of the total of 17 Global Goals)

• The winner of the “National Innovation Challenge” Azerbaijan 2018 receives a full sponsorship package to attend the “Istanbul Innovation Days 2018” in Istanbul, Turkey on 27-29 November 2018!
• The best Cleantech solution proposed will be granted direct access to Social Innovation Lab’s ClimateLaunchpad Azerbaijan 2019 program.

The top 3 winning startups of the “National Innovation Challenge” Azerbaijan 2018 receive cash prizes as below:

• First place: ₼ 5,000 AZN,
• Second place: ₼ 3,000 AZN,
• Third place: ₼ 2,000 AZN.

HOW IT WORKS?

Fifteen successful applicants will be accepted to an intensive training & coaching program in Baku, which consists of a two full days of Bootcamp, a speedy training & coaching program  and a National Final. The winner of the “National Innovation Challenge” Azerbaijan 2018 National Final will go on to represent Azerbaijan at the “Istanbul Innovation Days 2018” in Istanbul, Turkey on 27-29 November 2018.

Step 1: Apply before 30 September 2018;

Step 2: Participate in a two-day Bootcamp a speedy training & coaching program between 8-18 October 2018;

Step 3: Pitch in the National Final to a jury of distinguished global professionals and entrepreneurs on 19 October 2018;

Step 4: The winner attends the “Istanbul Innovation Days 2018” Global Program on 27-29 November 2018 in Istanbul, Turkey.
