The guideline was developed based on the recommendations of the comprehensive study conducted in the three select Nationally Determined Contribution ( NDC) sectors of agriculture, waste and energy in Bhutan to understand key linkages between gender and climate change, including adaptation capabilities, knowledge and vulnerability. It will guide stakeholders in mainstreaming gender in climate change interventions in the three identified sectors. It introduces best practices and internationally recognized case studies.
