Drawing competition "A Wasteless World"

For the students of academies of fine arts in Bosnia and Herzegovina

October 23, 2023

Show us your vision of a world that is free of waste, a re-imagined reality where consumerism is not king!

Calling all Fine Arts Academies’ students from Bosnia and Herzegovina to enter the “Wasteless World” Drawing Competition and showcase their vision for a future that’s not wasted on waste.

The current “take-make-waste” pattern of economic and social behaviour results in literal mountains of municipal and industrial waste. Everything we consume has a waste footprint – and if not managed properly – or eliminated - this waste ends up in our rivers, forests and even our cells, as microplastic.

What do you imagine a wasteless future will look like? How will we connect with the natural world and our communities to change our present and clean it from all the waste? How do we change our behavioural patterns to consume more thoughtfully towards our and the planet’s health? Tell us in a painting or a drawing!
