In 2023, UNDP's Sustainable Growth Sector, in partnership with the Czech-UNDP Partnership for SDGs, launched a pilot initiative aimed at enhancing cybersecurity awareness and resilience among MSMEs. This initiative provides comprehensive training to selected companies and trainers from relevant institutions and organizations across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On May 28, 2024, UNDP BIH issued a public call inviting all Bosnian and Herzegovinian nationals who meet specific criteria and are interested in participating in the cybersecurity training program outlined in the call. The aim of this training program is to establish a national cohort of cyber-security MSME trainers from relevant training centres who can offer training and advisory services to private sector companies and support them in strengthening their cyber-security resilience.
The call received a total of 22 applications during its open period. An Evaluation Committee assessed each application based on predetermined eliminatory and qualitative criteria.
Following the evaluation process and in adherence to the public call guidelines, 13 national professionals have been chosen to participate in the program. The selected trainers include:
