The COP27 Simulation Model in 2022 was a landmark event for youth climate engagement, uniting 130 participants from 21 Egyptian universities and 34 international universities across 25 countries. This dynamic platform immersed students in the critical issues central to the COP27 negotiations, highlighting the pivotal role of youth in addressing the climate crisis.

Participants navigated the complexities of international climate negotiations, honing essential skills in diplomacy, compromise, and effective communication. Their efforts culminated in impactful policy recommendations that extended beyond the simulation. These proposals were showcased at two high-profile sessions in the Blue Zone and Green Zone during COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh, amplifying youth voices on a global stage.
