EU and UNDP invite civil society organizations to take part in a grant contest
EU4Dialogue: Call for Grants, Round 2
November 21, 2022
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with funding from the European Union (EU), is announcing a call for proposals under the South Caucasus grant scheme for civil society organizations. The initiative is implemented under the EU-funded regional project “EU4Dialogue: Support to Conflict Transformation in the South Caucasus and the Republic of Moldova”.
What we aim to achieve
A Call for Proposals supports civil society organizations across the region in their work aimed at improving living conditions, promoting socio-economic development and enhancing human security in conflict-affected communities.
Who can participate
Grants will be awarded to nascent and/or grassroots-level civil society organizations to implement solutions to local-level priorities identified in a participatory and gender-sensitive review of local challenges and opportunities.
Priority areas
Conflict-affected communities in the South Caucasus experience severe living-standard challenges, including poor access to quality health and education services, unstable livelihood opportunities and impeded human security, with often debilitating impacts on their living conditions. Better socio-economic conditions and improved human security for conflict-affected communities remain imperative for building a durable foundation for conflict transformation.
The broad aim of the call for proposals is to respond to the socio-economic and human security challenges in conflict-affected communities in South Caucasus, with an emphasis on driving progress towards gender equality and improving the prospects of children and youth and the most vulnerable groups of society.
The deadline for applications is January 23, 2022
