Youth Action for a Safer Tomorrow
Georgian youth takes the lead in climate action
UNDP has been part of Georgia's success since 1993, working to help the country build a peaceful, inclusive, equal and climate-smart society. Our goal is to accelerate the transition to sustainable development, ensuring that the most vulnerable and excluded are not left behind.

Accountability is the obligation to demonstrate that work has been conducted by agreed rules and standards and report fairly and accurately on performance results vis-à-vis mandated roles and/or plans.
To achieve its mandate, UNDP relies entirely on voluntary contributions from UN Member States, multilateral organizations, the private sector and other sources, in the form of unrestricted regular resources (core), and contributions earmarked for a specific theme, programme or project.
Partnership is at the heart of our work in Georgia. Our partners include the Georgian Government, the United Nations, international development partners, civil society, the private sector, and the media.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), known as the Global Goals, are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
Our News Centre is a one-stop shop for multimedia press coverage and in-depth information on development-related issues. We provide news announcements, press releases and statements by UNDP leadership.

UNDP publications showcase the organization’s thought leadership and expertise and play a key role in fulfilling our mandate to support the realisation of the SDGs and encourage global development.
Our blog is written by development experts working to move the SDGs from paper to practice.
UNDP hires personnel through international or local recruitment. It applies several types of contracts depending on a number of criteria, such as legal basis and duration of services. We achieve our vision by working with highly skilled and passionate people from a wide variety of personal and professional backgrounds. We are now hiring a new generation of expert practitioners who want to contribute by offering strategic approaches to long-standing problems. We seek individuals who can communicate advice and new ideas across cultures and all strata of society.
As a public organization entrusted with donor funds and committed to supporting developing economies, UNDP abides by the principles of fairness, integrity and transparency, which ensures that competitive processes are fair, open, and rules-based.
