Staff of the Ministry of Public Health of Guinea-Bissau benefited from a training on “Leadership and Public Service” by the Leadership Academy, which took place at the National School of Administration (ENA) from the 23rd to the 27th of August 2021.
The main objective of the training was to contribute to the strengthening of leadership skills and the improvement of administrative practices, given the challenges imposed by COVID-19.
“I believe that at the end of this training we will have new ideas that will be useful for us to improve our management and our performance as heads of the health system”, said Sílvio Coelho, Director General of the Simão Mendes National Hospital.
“This training went very well and in an interactive way. We learned about types of leadership and conflict mediation. This will go a long way to improve our performance at work”, said Vanira Almada, Nutrition Service Director.
