
The GEF SGP in Kazakhstan Small Grants Program of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the United Nations Development Program in Kazakhstan announces a call for applications for membership in the National Steering Committee (NSC) among representatives of civil society organizations in Kazakhstan with at least 3 years of experience.
They include local communities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), academic institutions, research institutes and conservation and sustainable agriculture organizations.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in the GEF focal area: climate change, particularly in the areas of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Selected candidates will be invited as voluntary members to participate in the work of the NSC for a period of 3 to 6 years.
The complete application must consist of:
• The applicant's resume in Russian or English;
• A free-form letter expressing interest in becoming a committee member.
