To address emerging private –public conflict that have arisen in Kwale county over mineral exploration, UNDP organized a workshop between 8^th and 12^th September 2014 with the objective of creating a sustainable working relationship and open a forum for communication among stakeholders. The workshop training was to carry out a detailed profile of the Civil Society Organizations in Kwale County, understand the engagement among other stakeholders, initiate peace building efforts, evaluate the Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of Extractive Industry campanies with the aim of improving Private-Public Dialogue.
