UNDP has been operating in Kenya since 1966. As the Government’s development partner of choice, we have supported national and county-level development interventions. Over the years, we have worked with different partners across the country, identifying opportunities and designing solutions for today’s development challenges. In the last two decades, we have played a leading role in implementing both the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and now the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Over the years, we have invested millions of dollars in programmes aimed at strengthening human development in Kenya, with priority given to the poor and most vulnerable in society.
