This is the 3rd Quarter Progress report for the 2016 Financial year, that outlines recent accomplishments and progress made on partner Monitoring and Evaluation Plan (MEP) indicators. Key results achieved during the third quarter include: enhanced service delivery as a result of strengthened Public Finance Management (PFM); strengthened Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), and reporting of county performance; evidence-based planning and budgeting as a result of improved data collection and digitization. The innovative approaches to capacity strengthening employed by the UNDP assisted 37 counties to improve their human resource portfolios through the embedded UNVs in areas of public financial management, monitoring and evaluation, statistics, governance, geographic information systems and human resource management.
