UNDP in Kosovo, together with a wide range of local and international partners, has achieved important results during 2017. Through our Sustainable Development programmes we created jobs, awarded business grants for vulnerable groups, young men and women, reintegrated the repatriated, and people living in remote areas. Our contribution to democratic governance was through support to the justice and security sectors, fighting corruption and building bridges between communities through shared cultural heritage. We have also worked with communities to increase awareness and resilience to reduce risks relating to environmental disasters. The Office produced publications to strengthen prevention of violent extremism and continued publishing flagship survey Public Pulse.
