Monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) systems are used to track greenhouse gas emissions and progress towards reducing them. MRV systems are an essential part of climate action because they allow the measuring and reporting of emissions, the setting of targets and other climate goals, and the verification of progress towards reducing emissions.
This report outlines a design for an MRV system for the GHG emissions inventory and monitoring mitigation actions of Prizren and Suharekë / Suva Reka municipalities.
