Individual contracts (IC) – national and international

Free trade agreements are concluded for employees contracted under the Staff Rules. The salary scale for national staff is based on the best local conditions. The salary scale for international staff is based on the best comparable government service. 

Temporary appointments (TA) for employees are made in accordance with the TA Guidelines. The maximum contract period is 364 days. National staff salary scales are based on local best practices; The salary scale for international staff is based on the best comparable government service.

Service contracts (SC) are for personnel subject to clear terms and conditions of service. The contract must be valid for more than 6 months. Salaries vary based on local market conditions for specific positions. An individual contract (IC) is a legal instrument used to purchase the services of an individual to perform freelance tasks in connection with clear and quantifiable deliverables listed in the contract and tied to payment. The goal of an individual contractor is solely to provide services based on deadlines and results. Services may be intellectual in nature (consultant required) or support services (contractor required). The principle for setting remuneration is the nature of the task, the complexity, difficulty and volume of the work performed, as well as the degree of skill required to perform it.
