UNDP’s presence in the Kyrgyz Republic for 30 years, and the commitment to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, present opportunities to promote milestones, achievements, and advocacy campaigns in the country. UNDP in the Kyrgyz Republichas been one of the first UN Agencies to open its representation in 1992 and it has since then supported country’s development priorities. As of today, UNDP has a well- known image in the country and is the trusted partner of the Government in the development area. It also affects the communication strategy, as always linked to the partnership building and support to resource mobilization.
