UNDP Maldives, in partnership with the British High Commission of the Maldives and the Local Government Authority (LGA), is committed to advancing women's economic empowerment across the country.

The Women’s Development Committees (WDC) Economic Empowerment Training began in B. Atoll from February 11–13 and in HA. Atoll from February 17–19, with further sessions continuing until March 13. This initiative aims to equip women with the skills, knowledge, and tools needed to enhance their leadership and contribute to sustainable economic growth within their communities.
