UNDP Maldives has successfully conducted a Training of Trainers (ToTs) programme for the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM).
This program is part of UNDP's support provided to HRCM to strengthen the institutional capacity in engaging with human rights defenders in the Maldives. As part of this programme, a training manual was created which provides useful information and instruction for trainers who engage with human rights defenders as part of advocacy and empowerment efforts by the HRCM as well as human rights defenders and practitioners in the Maldives.
