Solar energy
The Investment-Development Fund offers favourable loans, while Eco-Fund provides generous subsidies (up to 40% of investment) for the installation of photovoltaic panels for the business and agriculture sectors. In 2021, the installation of 5 photovoltaic systems with an installed capacity of 205 kW was supported in Nikšić and Podgorica. Their operation will result in reducing emissions by about 4,000 tons of CO2. The investment will pay for itself in 4-7 years, making the future electricity virtually free.
Instead of being consumers, investors become producers of electricity, who use solar energy to meet their own needs, while selling excess energy to the national energy company. Solar panels brought light to 25 agricultural households in the rural area of Cetinje without access to the distribution network

It is possible to travel by e-vehicle throughout Montenegro – from the mountains to the sea. Charging remains free at 27 public e-charging stations!
Hacking the crisis
