This document comes to ensure a clear, systematic and comprehensive vision and framework for the design and construction of streets according to the typology of streets and the needs of users.

The main objective of this document refers to the establishment of guidelines for the design of streets in Chisinau for their transformation into a multifunctional, safe, comfortable and vibrant public space. Achieving this goal is possible only by integrating the functional requirements of all users of urban streets, ensuring an equitable allocation of available space for all types of users.
