What do we know about March 8? You will probably answer that it is International Women’s Day. This time, we decided to showcase this holiday from another angle through a social campaign and learn “Who is your role model”.

UNDP, UNFPA, UNODC, IOM, UNICEF and WHO have a pleasure to invite you to take part in an online contest. You will not be asked to bring your friends, repost this add or collect likes. Instead, you have a chance to tell the world about someone very special, someone who makes you proud and who is a role model for you.

The theme for International Women's Day 2019, which will take place on March 8, is “Think equal, build smart, innovate for change”.

Think about the progress achieved and celebrate the courage and determination of ordinary women and men who make our society better every day.

Starting from today and through March 5, publish a photo of real women and men on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or VK and caption it as “My role model is …. (name) because …. (reason) and provide a short explanation of why this person inspires you.
