Perception and understanding of SDGs among Vietnamese Youth

With 27.7% of the population aged between 16 and 30, Vietnamese young people play a central role in the country’s development and accelerating the achievement of the SDGs.

In December 2017, UNDP Viet Nam, the Sustainable Development Office of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and the Centre for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS) launched the ‘Vietnam Youth Survey on the Sustainable Development Goals’. The survey aims to collect data on awareness and perceptions of youth on the Sustainable Development Goals in order to develop the policies and supports young people need to realize their role as partners in achieving the Goals.

Viet Nam Youth Survey on SDGs Infographic provides the key findings from 7116 surveys of Youth from 63 provinces of Viet Nam.
