Supporting Resilient Livelihoods & Food Security in Yemen - Joint Programme as of December 2020
ERRYII programme brief- issue 4 highlights the Joint programme background ,key achievements, and challenges during the reporting period form July 2019 - December 2020. It also highpoints some success stories and best practices of all components. The purpose of this progress brief is to provide a quarter update in both languages Arabic and English to all stakeholders of the joint programme.
The Supporting Resilient Livelihoods and Food Security in Yemen Joint Programme / ERRY II is a 3 - year joint programme co-financed by EU and Sida. It is implemented in Yemen by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Labour Organization (ILO), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and World Food Programme (WFP) in six vulnerable governorates: Hajjah, Hodeidah, Lahj, Abyan, Taiz and Sana’a.
The overall objective of the joint Programme is to contribute to reduced vulnerability and strengthened resilience of crisis-affected communities in Yemen through the creation of sustainable livelihoods and improving access to basic services
