Social and Environmental Compliance Review and Stakeholder Response Mechanism

The UNDP is committed to ensuring that all the projects it supports comply with the UNDP Social and Environmental Standards. The Stakeholder Response Mechanism helps project-affected stakeholders, UNDP’s partners (governments, NGOs, businesses) and others to jointly address grievances or disputes related to the social and/or environmental impacts of UNDP supported projects. Complaints can be submitted to the respective project as the first level, or to the South Africa Country office, or directly to UNDP’s Headquarters.
