Supporting transparency in public procurement in Thailand and Indonesia                                                            

Government purchasing is one of the most lucrative and fastest growing markets in ASEAN. However, because of excess bureaucracy and uncompetitive practices, it is often one of the least accessible, especially to SMEs and disadvantaged groups.

By making new technologies accessible to the procurement authorities, companies and civil society, the FairBiz Integrity Hub is bringing transparency to public purchases, thus enhancing competition and access for companies.

Governments too will benefit by being able to control the procurement process better.

With our partners, CoST – the Infrastructure Transparency Project – the Hub is supporting the public procurement authorities in Thailand and Indonesia to publish transparent data on their public tenders.
