Wellbeing and other support
UNDP cannot expect to deliver excellence in our work without ensuring the wellbeing of our workforce.
From the beginning of your career at UNDP, we not only promote wellbeing through flexible working arrangements, and support for families, but we make sure this important value is upheld across the organization.
UNDP has a set of family-friendly policies and flexible working arrangements measures to enable staff to balance effectively personal, family and professional commitments as needed, throughout their careers. Our strong family-friendly policies are central to our competitiveness as an employer and our ability to function efficiently. We have a clear policy and guidelines that encourage the use of flexible working arrangements as a means to deliver high quality work while also helping our staff to balance their work and personal lives.
Psychological support is offered across the organization and online webinars are regularly organized throughout the year. Wellbeing is further being incorporated into UNDP various learning activities. Staff working in hardship duty stations are benefitting from further resources and training. UNDP offices are creative in finding new ways to enhance wellbeing, sharing best practices and new initiatives organization-wide.
