The project supports Government of The Gambia to create awareness of and improve capacities to implement the recommendations made by the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC) using a consultative and participatory approach involving key national institutions such as the Police, Judiciary, National Human Rights Commission, and civil society organisations, with a special focus on victims' and women's organisations.
