This book is a collection of the poems that emerged from the poetry series initated by UNDP in Nepal from 2021 with an objective to increase awareness and advocate on the issue of gender equality and social inclusion.The themes encompassed in artistic expressions revolve around courageous mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, wives, and the self; how our identities relate to  family, society, and nature; how women occupy and fare in their private and public spaces from the home to the paddy fields; their perseverance and aspiration to live a life free from violence. The poems beautifully convey the fears, tears, and cheers of life-changing past experiences and the future hopes and dreams for a just society where women can live in dignity.
