UNDP country office in North Macedonia commissioned two assessment studies aimed at understanding more about the experiences and stories of women that are involved with work in tech, biotechnology and light manufacturing. The first study assessed the motivation and support systems that women have at their disposal whereas the second one focused on identifying gender discrepancies in career choice, advancement, and career opportunities in the respective fields. The key findings of both studies will inform CO`s efforts in decreasing gender gaps and promoting increased participation of women in STEM, in line with the new UNDP Gender Equality Strategy 2022-2025.
