UNDP has successfully completed the first phase of executive-level courses on Climate Change Adaptation for civil servants in Azerbaijan

In the framework of the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) project, financed by the Green Climate Fund and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme in Azerbaijan in partnership with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the second phase of executive-level courses on Climate Change Adaptation for civil servants has been successfully completed.

BAKU. July 26, 2024: In the framework of the National Adaptation Planproject, financed by the Green Climate Fund and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme in Azerbaijan in partnership with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the second phase of executive-level courses on Climate Change Adaptation for civil servants has been successfully completed. These executive-level courses focused on vital topics such as “The essence of Climate Change Adaptation”. 

Dedicated civil servants are now better equipped with the knowledge and tools to tackle the challenges of climate change. 

The training program on Climate Change Adaptation was held on July 22-26, 2024, and invited employees from relevant government entities participated successfully.
