Objectives

The Environmental Caretakers project aims to inform and empower youth to become proactive participants in environmental stewardship by training young individuals (15-35) to observe and report environmental issues they encounter in their daily lives and create a network of informed and engaged environmental caretakers who contribute to the preservation and improvement of ecosystems in Cyprus.

The objectives of this project look to:

• Train and inform youth on identifying and reporting environmental problems;
• Foster a sense of environmental responsibility and stewardship among young individuals;
• Create a reliable network of young environmental caretakers to gather data and report environmental issues to the relevant parties;

• Raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection and the role of youth in driving positive change.
