The first children's carousel in Ungheni inaugurated with EU and UNDP support

Anatolie Cladicov is an entrepreneur from Ungheni who runs a business in the field of children's entertainment services, which he started in 2021 and developed with great passion and dedication.

In the warm season, his business offers trampolines and inflatable outdoor areas, and in the cold season it adapts to the specifics of the winter holidays with igloos and covered areas.

In 2023, Anatolie Cladicov purchased a carousel with the support of the programme "EU4Moldova: Focal Regions", funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP and UNICEF in the amount of €14,000 and his own contribution.

"The merry-go-round brings smiles, emotions and creates memories for children and is a point of attraction of the region," says Anatolie.

The entrepreneur has managed to create jobs and turn Ungheni into a pole of attraction for children and parents from all over the region.

"Once you have your first success and you see your dream come true, you realize that you can realize your dreams much faster, much better, much more qualitatively and with more staff. Things can also happen very well in the Republic of Moldova. We can create jobs. We can develop, whether we are in Ungheni, Briceni, Cahul or in another region of the Republic," said Anatolie Cladicov.

“EU4Moldova: Focal regions” programme (2019-2024) supports smart, inclusive, and sustainable socio-economic development in the Cahul and Ungheni regions to bring a better quality of life to citizens. The programme has a total budget of €23 million, is financed by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
