In conjunction with the increase in the frequency of attacks and the escalation since the morning of 23 September 2024 in Lebanon, the Lebanese government activated the National Operations Room and the Operations Rooms at the Governorates to respond to the repercussions of the attacks on citizens.

UNDP supports the coordination of response efforts at all levels in operating rooms, with the first phase focusing on the response within the health sector and the management of displacement to newly developed shelters in all regions.
