Statement on behalf of the Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the catastrophic floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina

We extend our deepest condolences and solidarity to the communities affected by the catastrophic floods across Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly in those areas where, tragically, lives have been lost, and homes, infrastructure, and businesses have suffered extensive damage.

We urge all citizens to prioritize their safety and stay informed by following the guidance of local authorities and emergency services.  

We are inspired by the solidarity of communities coming together to support one another during these difficult times.  

Our thoughts are with those affected by these devastating floods, especially with the families of those who have lost loved ones or are missing.  

The United Nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina stands ready to support the authorities in their efforts to provide assistance and recovery.
