"We Ting," an initiative by the UNDP Trinidad and Tobago Multi-Country Office, is here to empower communities and promote social cohesion. Get ready to experience an event that fosters collaboration, celebrates diversity, and strengthens our democratic values.

Event Highlights:

🎤 Talent Showcase:

• Express yourself through Calypso, Soca, Extempo, or Poetry
• Show your skills in Dance (Limbo, African, East Indian, Bélé), Drums, Steel Pan, and more!
• Skits/Dramatizations and Spoken Word that highlight community pride and solutions to societal issues.

👥 Intergenerational Collaboration:

• Each team must include both youth (12-25 years) and seniors (50-75 years), ensuring that tradition meets innovation.
• Showcase your unique talents and represent your region with pride.

Objectives:

• Empower community voices to be more active in the democratic process.
• Encourage knowledge transfer between generations.
• Strengthen unity and collaboration within and across communities.
