From October 15 to 18, 2024, a training focused on Japanese entrepreneurship methods, including "One Village - One Product" (OVOP) and "Kaizen" will be held for entrepreneurs from the Chimbay, Kegeyli, Nukus, and Khojayli districts. This event will be led by international expert Ms. Narigza Erkinbaeva and will host 100 participants.

The implementation of OVOP and Kaizen approaches is expected to enhance the knowledge of local residents, including women and youth, in business management and development. These methods will improve product quality and add value, helping local entrepreneurs become more unique and competitive in both domestic and international markets, ultimately leading to increased business profitability.

The goal of the training is to unite the efforts of private entrepreneurs and local communities to develop the economic potential of the Aral Sea region by producing goods utilizing available local resources.

This training is carried out within the framework of the UNDP project "The Project for Supporting Self-Reliance through Climate Resilient Agriculture in the Aral Sea Region," which has been operational in the targeted districts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan since December 2023.
