UNDP partners with Africell Sierra Leone for Campaign Against Gender-Based Violence

Freetown, Sierra Leone – November 26,2024 – The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Sierra Leone wishes to announce a partnership with Africell Sierra Leone to support the nationwide awareness campaign against Sextual and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) during the global 16 Days of Activism from November 25 to December 10, 2024.
Africell will send a series of communication messages to its nationwide subscribers, created by UNDP, to raise awareness about SGBV, its impact, and encourage personal and community action to prevent violence. This collaboration will help amplify critical messages and drive positive change across Sierra Leone.
The communication campaign is designed to reach a wide audience, including both urban and rural communities, ensuring that the message of solidarity and support for survivors of GBV is heard across all regions of the country.
