UNDP Maldives, in collaboration with the Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA), hosted a half-day orientation workshop on Sustainability Reporting. The session focused on the importance of integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into corporate governance and provided an introduction to the Maldives’ Sustainability Reporting Framework.

The workshop aimed to build capacity among businesses and stakeholders, encouraging transparency and responsible reporting practices. By embedding ESG principles into corporate strategies, the initiative seeks to align Maldivian businesses with global sustainability standards while contributing to national development goals.
