About the ARE

The Annual Report on Evaluation (ARE) examines the performance of the UNDP evaluation function, providing information on the evaluation budget, coverage and quality. The report also summarizes findings and lessons learned from recent evaluation reports, along with observations on how evaluations are used.

Presented every year at the UNDP Executive Board Annual Meeting in June, the ARE also features key data and insights from UNDP-associated funds and programmes—the United Nations Capital Development Fund and the United Nations Volunteers.
