United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Kosovo in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is launching a call for young jobseekers to join the Digital Skills Programme (DSP).
The Programme will support 110 young jobseekers in developing marketable digital skills through training bootcamps in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Young women and men aspiring to strengthen their digital knowledge will be equipped with employment-ready programming skills in the ICT sector. The programme is based on the Ready-to-Work (RTW) model on soft skills acceleration, and will provide hands-on training in programming, networking, design, and digital marketing.
As part of the training programme and through a competitive process, 50 out of the 110 DSP beneficiaries will be placed on ICT companies for 6 months through an internship scheme.
The Programme will take special consideration for women, persons from non-majority communities and persons with disabilities.
The call for application for Digital Skills Programme is open until 08 April 2022. Further information and Application Form can be found here.
The project supports young university graduates and students, looking to upskill and reskill through hands-on bootcamps delivered by local ICT certification centers.
UNDP Kosovo remains committed to supporting Kosovo youth, digital skills development is a key entry point for “future proof” careers, thus all interested persons are encouraged to apply for the Programme.
The Digital Skills Programme is implemented as part of the Active Labour Market Programmes Project 3 (ALMP3) of UNDP, with support from and in collaboration with GIZ.
