Youth 4 Inclusion, Equality & Trust

The project “Youth 4 Inclusion, Equality & Trust” focuses on partnering with young men and women to address divisive narratives and polarized communities, to enhance social cohesion within but especially across the zones involved. The project’s core thrust is to strengthen the engagement of young men and women – recognizing the crucial impact of traditional gender norms – across identity group lines and communities to promote constructive narratives and counter divisive narratives and patriarchal gender norms in order to increase inter-group dialogue, mutual understanding and gender equality. The project makes deliberate efforts to build upon and leverage existing capacities, organizations and mechanisms as much as possible, and to reach marginalized youth. One of the project outcomes is young people to enhance dialogue and trust across the region by promoting fact-based, positive narratives and gender equality in the public sphere and media.
