Anti-corruption public awareness and advocacy posters
Anti-corruption public awareness and advocacy posters
October 26, 2021
United Nations Pacific Regional Anti-Corruption (UN-PRAC) Project
The posters aim to raise awareness of people in the Pacific Island Countries (PICs) on the importance of preventing and fighting corruption and the anti-corruption efforts undertaken in the Pacific region.
The photography posters convey universal messages on the values of anti-corruption and effective governance and promote implementation of Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goal 16, as well as the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC). The posters, at the same time, communicate the stories and voices of people about the anti-corruption efforts in the Pacific societies in the spirit of the Teieniwa Pacific Unity against Corruption Vision. Those exemplify the aspirations and objectives of the UN-PRAC Project.
Anti-corruption messages, as seen through the lens of the photography, cover seven key topics:
- Youth as Game Changers in Pacific Integrity
- Pacific Unity against Corruption
- Corruption and health
- Climate change and corruption
- Corruption and gender
- Corruption and human rights
- Integrity in sport
The UN-PRAC Project is a joint UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and UN Development Programme (UNDP) initiative, funded by New Zealand Government aimed to support PICs to strengthen their national integrity systems. UN-PRAC wishes to thank and acknowledge the Australian Government for the earlier partnership and generous contribution to UN-PRAC including towards the preparation of these advocacy and awareness-raising materials.
