Rapid Response Facility - COVID-19
Project Background
In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic and detection of the first in-country COVID-19 case, the Papua New Guinea (PNG) Government enacted a national State of Emergency on 23 March 2020.
International experience shows that in terms of crises and social dislocation, women and girls are disproportionately exposed to violence to which PNG is no exception.
