As a key player on migration and displacement, UNDP is making commitments and contributions on sustainable development solutions for refugees and host communities. Using the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a framework, UNDP has learnt lessons and refined its response to refugees and host communities’ situations. From 2020 to 2030, our mission is to contribute to the international community’s effort to prevent, protect and resolve forced displacement and refugee situations in particular.

To turn our commitment pledges into a reality, UNDP will work in close partnership with UNHCR as well as with national and local governments, justice, security and human rights actors, private sector, civil society and, most importantly, with host communities and displaced populations themselves.
