South Sudan Action Plan on Return, Reintegration and Recovery

The South Sudan Action Plan on Return, Reintegration and Recovery: Achieving Durable Solutions 2024-2028, “The Action Plan” will play a key role in guiding the government and partners to better coordinate and create conditions for safe, dignified and voluntary returns, local integration and recovery of displacement affected populations as envisaged in the Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan (R-ARCSS). It strongly calls for mainstreaming of Chapter III of the R-ARCSS on Humanitarian Assistance and Reconstruction for the people severely hindered by protracted conflicts that have destroyed basic infrastructure, devastated the economy, and plunged the population further into poverty.
