PISTA
Platform for Investment Support and Technical Assistance
Overview
The Platform for Investment Support and Technical Assistance (PISTA) aims to identify projects that help developing economies in their decarbonisation efforts and in their transition to climate-resilient economies, catalysing finance from national and international instruments.
Objectives
PISTA has two overarching goals:
- To catalyse resources towards impactful initiatives by leveraging public resources to attract additional funds. This responds to a growing need from developing economies to develop proposals that are bankable and can unlock private capital at scale towards the SDGs
- To accelerate green investment by building the investment ecosystem to attract finance in the future.
