This Annual Report highlights milestones such as the launch of the timbuktoo HealthTech Hub in Kigali, the expansion of the Aguka programme for young entrepreneurs, and the roll-out of climate-smart hydroponic farming systems benefiting over 200 farmers. The report also showcases impactful initiatives in alternative justice access, gender-responsive taxation, biodiversity financing, and the empowerment of teen mothers.

UNDP’s partnership approach, demonstrated through visits to 17 districts and close collaboration with government and development partners, ensured that national strategies translated into real impact—from accessible justice systems to clean cooking energy, from youth cafés to vertical farms.

The report also marks the close of the 2019–2024 Country Programme and introduces a bold new strategy (2025–2029) aimed at integrating green growth, inclusive governance, and digital innovation to accelerate Rwanda’s journey toward Vision 2050.
